INTENSE Full Moon in Capricorn!

Greetings Fellow Moongazers!

We have an intense Full moon in Capricorn, July 21st at 6:17 a.m., edt. The apex of this moon will be brilliant in the early morning hours in most places. Be prepared for dramatic intensity before, during, and after.

The Moon will be conjunct Pluto, meaning they are rubbing elbows with each other, so to speak. Once again, we experience the intensity of Pluto's magnetic invitation to go deep. Actually, the invitation is more like a directive. We may be required to confront our shadows and those of others. We will be emboldened to pursue yearnings of deeply seated desires, as well as maintain a firm grip on clear and present reality. This time, the challenge is to continue to move forward with Capricornian tunnel vision and also resolve the 29 degree struggle with the exit of Cancer Sun. Whew! Now that's a lot to take in and difficult to comprehend. When you see it, feel it, you will know it! All I can possibly explain of this extremely complicated configuration is try your best to be prepared as best you can for....well....anything!

The Moon in Capricorn at 29 degrees can be challenging, especially with Pluto at 0 degrees ahead and moving retrograde, no less.This is like sitting on top of a very high ferris wheel swinging lightly while suspended in time and space and wondering when and how the the fall will take place. Pluto is clamoring to get back into  Capricorn for its final stand later this summer.

The good news? Why yes, yes, of course! Glorious Neptune! The planet of dreams, fantasy, creativity, spirituality, mystery, love, beauty......goodness I could go on forever, continues to offer escape from this pressure.  Don't give up and don't despair.  If all the former hazards of things that go bump in the night are impossibly overwhelming, there is always Neptune. Yes, we know Neptune has his faults of illusion and disillusion, but this time thank God we can be rescued. Delve into creativity, art, music, poetry, nature, prayer, meditation, beauty...you get the picture.

After all It's a Marvelous Night for a Moondance...

I pray for humanity to experience the goodness of the natural world, this magnificent moon, the invitation to enter the spiritual world, ultimately for the good of all. Full moons are always about reflection and decision making.  It's an opportunity to check yourself, your inner challenges and rumblings.  Allow the brilliant light of the moon at its apex to fulfill the recent new moon journey.  Capricorn is all about climbing and conquering that mountain!  Ironically the watery moon is in an earth sign.  The fiery Sun is in a water sign.  The balance can be wonderful.  Water and Earth together can be refreshing and stable.  Let us remember this.

Focus on your health, self-care, yet also power through your journey to the top of your game! Accept what God has presented to you and be grateful for your blessings. Absorb the energy, the healing, the inspiration. It is a beautiful world....

Promising New Moon in Cancer!

We have a very hopeful New Moon on Friday, July 5th in Cancer at 6:55 pm, edt. This Cancer new moon is very spiritual and private. Importantly, the Moon is fulfilled in the sign of Cancer. This is the Moon's home sign and Cancer's comfort zone. The watery sign of Cancer and the mysterious Moon offer deep spirituality and opportunities to cross realms and experience different dimensions.  My advice is to dive deep into prayer and meditation, contemplation and supplication. 

Cancer also loves and prioritizes home, hearth, children, family, comfort (unless one's chart is afflicted, feel free to email me on this). This moon's aspects showcase these prominently. Healing and camaraderie with a sense of tribe and community are possible.

The Sun in Cancer also prompts, well how do I say it? SUNSHINE!! And what do we humans receive from sunshine? Happiness, hope, and positive energy!

The Sun and Moon make a lovely aspect to Saturn.  Self-discipline, humble progress, and steady  patience should pay off at this time!  Additionally, a sweet aspect of Venus and Mercury is making a very auspicious connection to Neptune. This promises glamour, merriment, magnetism in relationships, as well as personal fulfillment. Treat your sweetie! Pamper yourself!! Venus opposite Pluto activates magnetic and attraction to all things mysterious and desirable.  Love, beauty, prosperity, all offer tempting delights.

A Little Bit of Sunshine!

With the guidelines of Saturn, the spiritually creative expanse of Neptune, the intensity of Pluto, your soul can be revived, healed, and nurtured. Ultimately, lest we forget, the loveliness of this moon leads you to comforts of hearth and home, a yearning for a place of belonging.  This is a complicated New Moon, operating on many levels (like the song above).  It's what a moon in Cancer is all about.  Churning, ebbing, and flowing thoughts and feelings will abound. 

I suggest starting this weekend productively! Create a space for your new moon magic (see my website for info). Journal, meditate, pray! Take inspired action. This moon will have a soft spot for the underprivileged, underdogs, neglected, abandoned, lonely people and creatures. Reach out! Pray for peace, brotherhood. Pray for the earth, the animals, the environment. With the Sun and Moon in good harmony, I believe our light will help us move toward goodness.

Complex Full Moon in Sagittarius/Capricorn!

Greetings fellow Moongazers! We have a complicated Full Moon in Sagittarius/Capricorn on June 21, 9:07 pm, edt, and 6:07 pm Pacific. 

It is in a very fresh 1° youngster phase in the sign of Capricorn (in the eastern United States). It is leaving an advanced Sagittarius moon. It is My advice is to try to stay balanced internally, mentally, emotionally, and physically. Take a break from all the previous Gemini moon's overload . Enjoy all of the Sagittarian plans for adventure and fulfillment. Be proud of the Capricornian accomplishments! Incoming complicated cosmic arrangements will require a balance between spirituality and pragmatism.

This moon in Capricorn is  in a very pragmatic and earthy position. The moon actually prefers the mystical and mysterious, but here is our chance to blend the moon's mysticism with earthbound assistance. I know it seems contradictory. With the very early stages of the moon and the fulfilled Sagittarian energy, let us propel our journey. Capricorn insists to climb the mountain of achievement and success in whatever endeavor you so choose. Sagittarius loves to soar far and high. This is definitely a placement to “compel you to propel” your already activated plans of adventure and success.

Additionally, be aware of the crisscrossing of planetary challenges. Did I not say this is a complicated moon? Why, yes, yes I did! Hold steady. The moon is opposing our Sun in Cancer. Cancer is the moon's home sign, so ponder that for a minute. Whew! Complex indeed. I advise to act and look at it this way. This combination can revive you, rather than deplete you. Creativity, spirituality, blended with practical, earthy common sense is your best bet.

Lest we forget, that Sun in Cancer requires attention on the home front. Family, home, dwelling, all things relationships, need attention and nurturing. In between reaching for the stars and climbing that mountain, go to your quiet place and saturate your heart, mind, and soul with prayer, meditation, quiet contemplation. Also focus on your physical, mental, spiritual health. This moon is quite a mixed bag, but there are some very lovely aspects if you take this advice.  If you find that perfect balance for yourself.....
