Greetings fellow moongazers! We have a Solar Eclipse and New Moon in Libra, on October 2nd, 2:49 pm, eastern USA time. The eclipse will be visible in South America, but an eclipse is an eclipse and we will know and feel it! It will be adding intensity to where the Moon and Sun are making aspects. Lovely Libra will need peace and balance. Libra is gracious and diplomatic, but please don't upset their equilibrium. They abhor aggressive, vexing souls and energies. After all, don't we all want lovely and calm energy? Don't we all want peace in the valley, sprinkled with beauty, tranquility, and harmony? Troubled and afflicted Librans are heartbreaking to encounter. Don't be surprised if you feel an irresistible urge to comfort, save, champion their noble causes!
Why do I say this? Well, for one this is a New Moon, and New Moons are intended to be hopeful and inspiring. As well, a solar eclipse is meant for new beginnings and inspirational new journeys. While this is all very true with this moon, especially with a few lovely aspects gracing the cosmos, there are some challenges. That artful dodger, Mercury, is making a challenging aspect to communications. With Mars also on the loose, there will be intense challenges. It will all depend on where this is activated in your personal chart. There is hope, though, and any communication issues can be worked through with the secret aspect of Mercury and Venus. After all Libra's ruling planet is Venus and it is surely lovely to have Venus on your side. Indeed, Venus is appearing in the midheavens to assist potential mishaps. She is waiting in the cosmos to show up for beauty, grace, love, enjoyment, with a touch of glamour.
Let us all take the challenges that make this Libra moon unsettled, and receive grace and hope with a glorious grand trine in water in the heavens. With Venus and the Midheaven in Scorpio making amazing aspects to Mars and Saturn, well, this can only be fantastic! See! I knew it.
As always with a New Moon and Solar Eclipse, there are special things you can do to work your magic. Write in your journal your hopes, dreams, wishes, goals! Don't hold back! Light a candle, play soft music, pray, meditate. Gather photos, trinkets, remembrances, to add to your visualization of dreams come true! I wish you well...and hope for your dreams and successes to come true! Remember these wishes are only for you, no other, but you may bless and pray for others.
