EPIC Full Moon & Lunar Eclipse in Taurus!

Updated: Oct 26, 2023

The Full Moon & partial Lunar Eclipse takes place on Saturday, October 28th. The moon reaches its fullness at 4:23 p.m. , eastern time zone. The eclipse begins at 3:34 p.m. on that day, eastern time zone.

A lunar eclipse occurs when the movement of the earth's shadow prevents sunlight from shining on the moon. In a partial eclipse during the alignment of the Sun, Moon and Earth , the moon passes through only a portion of the Earth's umbra (shaded area) .

This is an epic, sultry, spiritual, undeniably powerful Full Moon, and partial Lunar Eclipse! The Libra Sun, recovering from the former New Moon Solar Eclipse, finally gets to take a break and turn it over to mighty Scorpio, that domineering astro sign. The relentless Pluto in Capricorn challenges the Sun, Mercury, and Mars, ALL in Scorpio. Wow! I can feel the heat already. Ironically, Venus is making an agreeable attempt to play nice with Jupiter, and Uranus. So.....there's that. But make no mistake, with her confronting the Sun and Moon, she will not tolerate anything less than her own high standards. Don't say I didn't warn you. Girls get your Goddess on! Mystically speaking, I like Saturn back at 0 degrees Pisces. I know that sounds odd, with little Pisces not exactly wanting to accept the strict discipline. Saturn is good for this in many ways. Stay the course. Stay steady, especially with the barriers and boundaries. Face reality while continuing to dream, create, and expand. Remember, the only way out is through! Surprisingly, Uranus has settled down also. So, there ARE some lovely hidden gems here. However. Be careful with ALL that strength and potential volatility. This is quite a mixed bag. Also, with it being Scorpio season and an eclipse, tread carefully .

Lest we forget, this is a very spiritual moon. Take some time to pray, meditate, and contemplate your past, present, and future. Think of those who have passed on (they are probably nearer than you think). Honor your history, your ancestry, your future. Ultimately, the spiritual world offers hope, redemption, and peaceful repose, for those who are troubled. Take this time to reach out to the needy, forgotten, abandoned, and abused. In the words of Max Ehrmann, "Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be, and whatever your labors and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life, keep peace with your soul. With all its shams, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world." Stay the course.

Remember, even though I am experienced and have known truths in my mystical moonbeams musings and my astrological studies, I do not profess to be psychic, omniscient, nor do I "play God". I try to help people to ascend into spiritual and metaphysical awarenesses. Really, this blog is for entertainment purposes. Always remember to harm no one with this knowledge, and use it for yourself only. We all have free will and do not want to intrude on others' will.
